The SkyWatcher AZ3 Pronto mount is a lightweight alt-azimuth mount, offering the simplest, most comfortable, and versatile system to use. Its movements are straightforward: up-down / left-right, without the need for polar alignment. With its 2 handles (symmetrically positioned), you can achieve precise fine movements even when observing at high magnifications. For maximum pointing speed, the mount can be manually directed in both axes (by releasing the brakes).

With a load capacity of 3 kg (with an optional male Vixen-type dovetail), you can use binoculars up to 80mm in diameter or Maksutov telescopes of 90-100mm. The retractable aluminum tripod is easily transportable. It’s a perfect combination (mount + tripod) for the nomadic observer!
