What a great evening everybody had!

This was an 'Adults Only' evening, and was attended by 17, arriving mostly in couples.
The parking area was large, and just across the road from the venue.
We were all warmly greeted and offered  fruit juice or water to start with.
People quickly joined others and there were plenty of friendly conversations.
Once everyone had arrived and settled, there was an introduction with a decent Cava.
This was not a bunch of enthusiasts sharing their hobby with us, these were professional astronomers sharing their knowledge.
They were all warm, friendly and approachable.
Dinner was served whilst waiting for the sub to set (a delicious curry, tender meat, salad, jacket potatoes and bread).
Good quality red and white wine, beer and water were available for free.
There was also a pay bar.
There was an informative talk explaining about telescopes and astronomy, followed by viewings of various stars, the moon and a galaxy.
There was a break, followed by a presentation about the future of astronomy.
There are Glamping Pods and Tents for those who wish to stay the night.
Our evening started at 19:30 and ended at 00:30.
The site is not up a mountain, as most expected, but at an easy to get to location, next to a fairly quiet road, and on the flat.
We cannot recommend Finca Astronómica enough.

7 year old review- Very very cool. Loved all the animals and all the constellations. Playing with the nerf guns and Max was really fun as well. Brilliant to see the moon up close through the telescope.  Very nice pancakes for breakfast.

Delicious food, warm welcome, fascinating astronomical information from very knowledgeable,  multi lingual hosts. Beautiful venue with relaxed bohemian vibe. Shower room in development for future which will be an advantage. Very clean and comfortable.

A beautiful evening with warm, welcoming hosts who clearly know a thing or two about astronomy! We enjoyed trying our hands at archery and darts; making some four-legged friends; eating delicious home-cooked food; toasting marshmallows around the fire; and learning all about the moon and stars. Spent a wonderful night at this amazing experience.  I cannot decide what was the best bit - the food, the location or the hospitality from Charles and Alex.  This is without doubt one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.  The enthusiasm these guys have is amazing. There is nothing they will not do or tell you to help enhance your evening.  I went as I knew my husband would love it - but came away with a new found love for astronomy. Would I go back- hell yes- roll on November to see Saturn and spend another night learning and relaxing. Wow wow wow!

We booked a private tour last night for 5 of us, just because, they were not doing a standard tour till after my friends were leaving ! Now, it is the way to go!

Charles, Alex and Max are the most hospitable family  ever! Charles not only is an absolute wealth of knowledge about the universe,  he is also the best chef! The food is always Amazing!

Together they are a complete team and you feel so comfortable in their company . But what blows your mind is the things they show you through their telescopes and their explanations of what you are looking at!

Last night was an extra treat not just because we had almost one to one with them, but it was the first time they had used their new telescope! Extra wow! That, and the special glasses that allowed us to look at the sun.. well.. we had the best time ever!

Needless to say, we will be back again very soon … my friend is already talking about what questions he wants Charles and Alex to answer! Be warned guys, Trevor wants facts and figures about Saturn!

Fabulous evening at  Finca Astronomica. A night of learning about and observing the night sky once the clouds cleared. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic hosts - great presentation, good food, roaring fire, and gorgeous pets! Amazing value too.
