At Astronomy.tours we create unforgettable stargazing experiences in the beautiful region of Murcia, Spain. Located near Cartagena, our Finca Astronómica is the first place in the area dedicated to astronomy tourism, where visitors can enjoy telescope observations, astrophotography workshops and guided tours under dark Mediterranean skies. Founded by passionate astronomers Charles Westphal and Aleksandra Blaszczyk, Astronomy.tours combines science, education and nature. Trained in the Canary Islands and certified as Starlight Foundation Official Monitors and Guides, they bring professional expertise and years of experience in science communication to every activity.

With state-of-the-art telescopes, professional astrophotography equipment and a unique approach to science education, our mission is to make the universe accessible to everyone – families, schools, travelers and astronomy enthusiasts.

Astronomy Tours are organized by Astronomy and Science Centre Foundation as part of a greater incentive of promotion and popularization of astronomy and astronomy related sciences. The money raised by the activities is directed towards the general work of the foundation.

Astronomy and Science Centre Foundation’s main mission is promotion and popularization of astronomy and astronomy related sciences.

By doing so we hope to bring a better understanding of the world that surrounds us, it’s needs and the threats it’s facing. Our work is to help realize that we are all the people of Earth, one nation one planet. By bringing perspective of our place in the great universe we aim to raise awareness of the need to improve the relations between different peoples and different cultures as well as the need to care about our planet in a more global way.
